As much as I'd like to leave 0 stars, I cant. I don't know what was worse about this trip. The skipper turned up an hour late after telling us to be there at 6. Another 45 minutes passed before we got going, only for 1 motor to not work on the boat. So 20 minutes more before we change boat, finally got going over 2 hours after we were meant to leave. You'd think a fishing charter company would have a better understanding of the weather conditions, nope, not these guys. Took our group out in dangerous swell, so much that a rogue wave went straight over our boat, drenching us all. Even the deckhand was saying how bad it was! Could've rescheduled us, would've been no problem on our end, but no, take us out for about 90 minutes, caught nothing and ended up seasick after sitting in the 10-15 foot swell. Don't bother.

We scheduled a 4 person fishing trip for a half day open ocean trip, and it was horrible. First, the engine on the boat died ten minutes into the trip so we had to swap out to another boat, wasting about an hour of the trip straight away. Then they took is out onto waters that had waves about 10-15 feet high, with a boat that was not designed for that. We were catching air half the time, slamming into the water, and at one point the driver made a mistake and a wave hit the top of the boat completely, instantly drenching everyone onboard. It was so unsafe. Once we finally stopped at a fishing location, the waves were so huge that everyone got sick within an hour and we caught no fish. Neither did the driver or assistant. We asked to go back home because it was a terrible day to try and fish, and the guy goes "oh yea when it’s windy like this the waves are bad". Would have been great to know that before we spent $600 to waste a day and get sick.
